Post-translab: Does the dry mouth ever get better?
« on: December 28, 2014, 03:15:24 am »
I had my surgery in late September, removing both cochlea and the vestibular area, and the one persistent and very unpleasant side effect of the surgery has been dry mouth. It is distractingly dry, compels me to drink water constantly and Biotene only has mixed results and tastes weird.

I had jaw pain and jaw tightness for weeks but that seems fully healed now. Am I stuck with this nonstop dry mouth or is there a possibility I can recover more?
