3D Imaging Advancement
« on: November 13, 2014, 04:09:56 pm »
This short video shows a new type of 3D hologram imaging.  I am very excited about it and wonder how it could be applied to tumors such as ours.  Please watch it and share any thoughts on it:

Diagnosed June 2014 1cm AN at 47 years of age.  Had fluctuating symptoms since 2006.    6 mos MRI (Dec 2014) showed no growth, MRI  in July 2015 showed no growth.  MRI Jan 2016 showed no growth.  MRI Aug 2016 showed no growth.  I'm gonna ride the WW train as long as I can.

ANguy,

I imagine that there are many applications for this, it is exciting! But alas it may take some time to come down to the local hospital level.

Mike

Perhaps, in the very near future......
1974 - Dr. Michelson  Colombia Presbyterian removal of 3 Arterio Venous Malformations
2004- Dr. Sisti  NY Presbyterian subtotal removal of 3.1 cm AN,
2012 - June 11th Dr. Sisti Gamma Knife (easy-breasily done)"DEAD IRV" play taps!
Research, research, research then decide and trust in God's Hands!

ANGuy,

I can think of another application for this, a friend of mine has entered surgery right about now for a badly damaged ankle at Hospital for Special Surgery here in NY. He could use it, it would allow them to reconstruct his ankle.

Just saying there are other applications than just brain surgery.
