Anxiousness feeling!
« on: July 07, 2013, 10:59:10 pm »
Dear Everybody,

I have been not thinking about it and avoiding it! My first check up is tomorrow my neurologist Dr. Kirk Roberts appointment is tomorrow at 1:30 pm. He will review with me the medications I am on and ask me whether I notice any major changes and I am hoping he will review my post GK treatment and whether or not he has seen an improvement (necrosis) or shrinkage in Dead Irv.

I must say I am a little nervous about what tomorrow news brings, I have yet to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sisti. Procrastination seems to be my only strong suit lately!

Wish me luck and pray for cellular death of Dead Irv people!

Thank you Teri,

I should not be afraid, I should have faith in my doctors! I know! Why do is it so d... Hard? It is just a thing in my head... I am FIRMLY resolved to go make the appointment to find out the results from Dr. Sisti this morning. I have to confirm that the lab results are there first, simple call to his office this morning. Technicallity, really! Verifying records presence then verifying insurance coverage. Here goes nothing! Wish me luck as I once more go into the medical fray! Thank you for your prayers.

Mike ~

See my message on your GK Treatment Journal thread (post#122).

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Dear Teri,Jim and Gloria,

I have experienced relief at last thank you for your concern on my behalf. As I explained in THE YELLOW FLAG and my Journal of Gamma Knife started the June 10, 2012. I am anxious no more. I have concluded that it was a waste of time and I through my procrastination was only keeping myself in limbo which is NOT good.

Follow up is more important than you think!

Thanks for the prayers.

Hi;
Re, "I should not be afraid, I should have faith in my doctors!" My feeling is we should have faith in God and trust our Drs. Re, "Lucky", faith in God is not relevant as God does not procure "chance".
Best wishes, Mike! Re; Anxiety, I have it all the time and have for many years. Guess we are all human.

Dear Everybody,

A new reason to be anxious I don't need! Tonight, I am anxious that Dr. Sisti will not see any marked improvement in my CT scans. As always, folks I could use your prayers tonight for a positive message as I follow up with my neurosurgeon tomorrow.

I am anxious that Dr. Sisti will not see any marked improvement in my CT scans.

"No marked improvement" could also mean that nothing got any worse.

That's a more positive way of looking at it.

No bad news is the equivalent of good news.

On the other hand, there's always the good news-bad news situation.

Example:

Good news - My mother-in-law drove off a cliff.

Bad news - She was driving my Cadillac.

3/15/18 12mm x 6mm x5mm
9/21/16 12mm x 7mm x 5mm
3/23/15 12mm x 5.5mm x 4mm
3/13/14 12mm x 6mm x 4mm
8/1/13 14mm x 5mm x 4mm (Expected)
1/22/13 12mm x 3mm (Gamma Knife)
10/10/12 11mm x 4mm x 5mm
4/4/12 9mm x 4mm x 3mm (Diagnosis)

AJ;

"Good news - My mother-in-law drove off a cliff.
Bad news - She was driving my Cadillac."

That is truly funny! Did I see you on Comedy Central?
Even funnier than, "Ever think of using an ear plug,?"

Mike; I think I read your news was good? Congrats!
