4 days post surgery
« on: February 16, 2013, 10:32:50 pm »
4 days out from a 13.5 hour trans lab for a 2.7 cm AN.

21 year old son, Oliver, is feeling way better. up and moving around room and using a walker to do laps of the unit. He is experiencing minor facial impact, barely noticeable, some things taste "weird".  Mono hearing amazes him. He says all sounds seem to come from inside his head. We are so pleased and thankful for the Doctors at St. Luke's in Kansas City.

Glad to hear he is up and about.  Sorry he has to go through this at such a young age though.  It is a lot to handle.
I wish him all of the best and a speedy recovery!
