Boricua,
Welcome to our group!   I'm sorry you are dealing with this tumor and please know you are not alone in your AN journey.  You will find many wonderful supportive friends on this forum.  We have all been in your shoes and know what you are going through.  Some of us are at different stages of our AN journey.  Everyone's experiences differ but we are all in this together and knowing it adds so much comfort!

Please know I will be praying for you all as you approach your surgeries (Karen and Linda too =)
Before you know it, you will be on the recovery side.  Just have faith in God and let him take over and walk with faith now.  May you feel peace!  I know I was still a little scared but someone once told me it's not brave unless your scared.  I woke up the day of surgery feeling so peaceful.  I will pray for that for each of you and please know you can and will get through this!!!
Let us know how you are when you feel up to it.
Best wishes and take care!

Hi ~

Thanks for joining the ANA discussion forums.  Our thoughts and prayers will be with you on Tuesday (7/31).

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

It is what it is

Boricua,

Welcome to ANA.   You will find comfort from many folks here.  I am one month post retrosig surgery.  It really helped me to know that others have travelled this road.  You (and Linda) will be in my prayers this week.  Best wishes to you.
