I found this while browsing for something else and thought I'd send it in simply for info about hearing and how it all works.

When i read that the vestibular part of the inner ear was the hardest bone of the body I had to smile as it tells me that nature is protecting a very important part of the body and not simply hearing but all the other things affected by "things" like Ans etc etc that affect us.....
