6 month MRI update
« on: March 02, 2012, 09:12:21 pm »
Just an update for everyone who was there with support 6 month ago, when I was diagnosed and freaking out.

I just went for my 6 month follow up and nothing has changed - no growth.  Dr. Battista said I do not have to get another MRI until the end of the year - 9 months.

So for now good news!

I continue on wait and watch for now :)

Great news, congratulations.  I'm sure you must be relieved.  Time to get on with life for another 9 months.  Did the first 6  go faster or slower than expected?  I'm coming up on one month this week.

Hi, Jo Anne ~

Congratulations on the stable MRI report!  May you remain on the W&W train for a long time to come!  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

It actually went by very fast!  I am generally a very positive person so I think that really helps.  My hearing had been a problem for nearly a year before I went to get it checked.

I have a 11mmx12mm on right side diagnosed 9/2011.  I have not figured out how to post that yet, but I will.

Thanks for the kind words!

Great news!  Same thing for me after my 6 mo and my 12 mo.  Doc has me on a 6 mo schedule.  Stay positive!
Diagnosed with 21x16x16 mm AN in December 2010.  No change in June 2011 nor in January 2012.  No major symptoms - tinnitus, some fullness in left ear but no hearing loss or other symptoms.
Firmly in the W&W camp for now.
