facial numbness
« on: January 14, 2012, 12:37:32 pm »
Hi everyone.  It's been a while since I posted, but I've been on w &w for 2 years now.  Unfotunately I woke up yesterday and today with slight swelling and numbness in my upper lip and cheek.  Its only on my left side though..( same as my AN)  Im concerned it could be related.  Of course hoping for some other explanation.
diagnosed Feb. 2010
wait and watch
tumor: 6mm
Fall 2018 still W&W 8mm
August 2021 grew to 1.2cm
8/21 Treatment: Fractionated SRS

I'm not sure about swelling but I would call your dr & ask for an MRI. Facial numbess is caused by the trigeminal nerve. Thats part of my issue. At least your not feeling pain like me. What size is your AN?
