I year post G K

One year post GK and MRI shows a reduction in size from 2.2 cm to 1.6 cm.  I am told that this is rare and, I assume a good thing.  I am also fortunate that I have only lost about 35% of the hearing on my NA side with 100% word recognition.  I am told that this is also rare.  However, the Dr. at the check up said that i can still expect to lose all of my hearing within 5 years. O thought 24 months was the outside. My hearing has been stable for about 6 months, does anyone have a time line as to when I will likely know what the future holds?
