One Month Post-Operation
« on: October 13, 2011, 06:36:42 pm »
Hello to all my AN friends! My husband Jason is helping me type this, but I just wanted to give you an update.

I am currently in a rehab hospital for therapy. The staff here are so good, and our family gets lots of help from church and family!

Today was a big day that included walking and eating fruit, drinking juice, and better movement in my "tricky" right arm.

I'll be discharged from here on the 26th of October. The goal is to go home, but I will have another option in a group setting if needed.

Thanks for being so awesome!

Best wishes,
Heidi

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

I am so happy for you! Glad to hear you are doing well!! I have never heard of anyone needing to go to a rehab facility after surgery. Is there a reason you are there? Take care..prayers being sent your way.
