I also have these symptoms occasionally,, not really daily. Some have said it can be worsened with stress, fatigue, and maybe salt/sodium use.. I have not really found a link except when I am tired.. sometimes I just want to lay down and steady my head.. eye focus may be an issue also.. I believe my vision has changed, but have not been to eye Dr.
One Dr did prescribe antivert, I believe it is,, for the dizziness, I did not take any though..so can't say if it will help. but some days are definitely worse than others! Not much help, just wanted you to know you are not alone...

When I experienced nausea, I would chew on a little raw ginger, something my doctor suggested. It helped.

You can take commercially available motion sickness pills but taking these long term bothered me.
There is a certain type of ginger, not any ginger which does help with the nausea.
These too are availble as a natural remidy against motion sickness.
I found if I took the maximum recommended dose that it did help.
10x5x5mm AN
Sudden Partial hearing loss 5/28/10
Diagnosed 7/4/10
CK 7/27/10
2/21/11 Swelling 13x6x7mm
10/16/11 Hearing returned, balance improved. Feel totally back to normal most days
3/1/12 Sudden Hearing loss, steroids, hearing back.
9/16/13 Life is just like before my AN. ALL Good!

hi there - sorry you are feeling rough.
balance problems can certainly come on very quickly, either before any treatment or sometimes after radiation. they can also recur like this after previous improvement during a viral or other illness for example.
and for acute severe nausea/vomiting there are drugs that can help the symptoms, though most people are not advised to take them long term as they can slow down the brain's adaptation to the loss of function of the vestibular nerve. have you an appointment with your doctor?
best wishes,
vikki
