2 1/2 yrs post op- No tumor!!!!

I did it!!! Finally got up the nerve to have an MRI. Thanks to Dr. Brackmann and Dr. Schwartz at House Ear, they did a total removal and just like they said....it has not come back.....2 1/2 years later there is no sign of the tumor. I am so thankful to all of you on this site...it has helped me tremendously and gave me the guts to go have that post op MRI. Hugs and kisses and well wishes to all of you!

2.5cm x2.0cm cerebellapontine angle meningioma. 100% removal 2/2009. House Ear Institute. Dr Brackmann and Dr. Schwartz. SSD right ear. No balance problems except when really tired, no headaches. Transear hearing aide made no difference, tried it for 4 months.

Yaaaay for the clean MRI.  Just know how happy you are!!

Dr. Schwartz is awesome.  Hoping for the same clean MRI next year for me!

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.
