1 year ago today I had my AN removed!!!!
« on: April 02, 2011, 04:42:22 pm »
 :)
I know I haven't been on here in awhile, life keeps me busy.  Today is my one year anniversary from surgery.  I'm doing good, feeling stronger and better each day.  Still frequent headaches and neck pain often.  Otherwise, life has blessed me!
To all those ready to have an AN removed, life can be good, if not better after surgery.
Thanks again to everyone on here who helped me get through this very scary process.  I couldn't have done it without this forum.
Love to all,
Susan

Hi, Susan ~

Thanks for the update.  Congratulations on your 1-year surgery anniversary!.  I'm pleased to learn how well you're doing, now.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Thanks everyone, it was a great weekend.  My middle daughter made the High School Cheer team for next year.  She's an upcoming freshman.  We went out to dinner to celebrate both occasions.  So much to be thankful for.
Thanks again for all the support!
