4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Yes, Thanks for posting it. I found it quite interesting.

Especially the bit explaining why there used to be 95% fatality rate for surgeries on larger tumors: ‎"in the old days, with a large tumor against the brainstem, the neurosurgeon would actually go in and scoop out the tumor with his finger."

I'm glad it is not the old days.  :)
