Oh, Wow,   I forgot about the vacation plans.  Got to close my eyes and start dreaming.

Play therapy is wonderful.  I'm tired of seeing docs all the time.   Glad I'm off the ventilator, got the tube out and O2 off.   When I found out I was on a ventilator, I really got scared!   What a freaky time.   Glad I have an ENT visit scheduled for next week to check out my tongue.   It hurts from when I went unconscious and bit down.  Now I have a purple tongue so I can't get mad at people and stick out my purple tongue.   Also have a psychologist visit coming this week which I will really unload there.   I'm so glad to have all of you and  No, the doctor never apologized.

My 96 year old father is so healthy.  No surgeries, YET!   and no headaches, but just a touch of arthritis in his fingers.  He asks for cream about once a month or less.

Love you all and glad to be home!

Jeez Mei Mei, what a frickin ordeal!  I guess the lesson here is to get a copy of your surgical report and take it to every doc visit you go to and make him read it in front of you.  I can't believe none of these clowns will give you a full set of Botox injections--they have worked wonders for me--the best relief I have found yet.  My first nerve block worked really well, too, because I think he really got the right spot the first time he did it and may have missed the next two.  The "D" medication you got was probably Depo-medrol.  I always get a list of what they use on me from the doc.
There has got to be a decent pain clinic in your area.  Have you thought about a consult with Dr Ducic at Georgetown?  He does nerve decompression surgery.  Has anyone ever gave you a definitive diagnosis on what is causing your headaches?  Mine is essentially occipital neuralgia/Cervicogenic headache.

You really need a break from all this crap my dear!!

Sending you a big warm hug from an icy mountain,

Capt Deb

Just received my Cleveland Clinic records in this afternoon's mail.  I was surprised and angered to read that after I passed out my EKG read that I had tachycardia and a possible Myocardial Infarction (heart attack).  I don't know why they never told this to me.   It's very upsetting.   Why don't they share what's happened to you?   ???

I'm glad to be here, Moe.   I feel fortunate.  I hope there isn't any scarring on my heart.   They said they were checking enzyme levels every few hours.   Now I understand why.
