You Crazy Wenches!!

Hey all you!  Just got a call from mom- she got your care package.  She was so touched by all your love and concern, she was in tears!  She's been glancing through the books, doing crosswords, and Capt, she's not sharin' her potato spoon!  She wanted me to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! And to send all of you her love.  She'd post herself, but while she's able to read and do crosswords for some time, the computer screen is really wavy and nauseating for her to look at.  So I'll continue to post for her.  Anyway, from her and her family, thank you for your thoughtfulness and love.  She (and I ) think you all are wonderful!

Glad to hear mom is doing so well.  The computer screen will settle down.  I remember typing with one eye for a while because it was too bright and made queasy  LOL

When does you're mom come home?

She flies home on Friday, the 26th.  She arrives home around noon-ish.  And I don't have to work Sat. the 27th through June 5th, so I'll be home taking care of her quite a bit, and getting the kids used to a new routine with mom.

I hope when your mom get's 'puter ready, she has fun reading all your postings dear daughter Andrea.  You'll have to stay on anyway, we take friends and family too!!!!  Anyone that's a caregiver shall forever be worshipped by us.  I think sometimes that's the harder job of the two.  I'm sure you're anxious to get mom home.  I bet she'll be back up and running in no time!

Another wench on the way - the good ship PBW, whoops, the good dinghy girly whirly (or is it the other way around) is heading in the direction of the west coast of the u.s of a, going in circles a bit but youngen Andrea, never mind the parrot sqwark, yas gotto be able to go into specific t-shirt type contests to be a newbie on the good ship pbw. Funny - the next port of call is Adelaide and its the city of churches with a twist!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGG!  (how was that?  )  My mom gets home in approximately 40 hours. . . but who's counting?  I'm really excited.  I was able to get all of next week off, so as of tomorrow night, I'm home with mom (we live next door to eachother - I told you, she's the best, I'm a little too attached???) until Tuesday the following week.  That way, I can help get her and the kiddos settled in, and adjusted to our newest way of life.  It's amazing how life just keeps evolving and changing for our little family.  In two years, we went from two parents to one, getting guardianship of my 2yr old neice (long story, too long), myself and two kids moving in next door, and now mom's tumor.  Wow. . . and we just keep getting closer, stronger and better!   Well, if it's any importance, I purchased "How I became a pirate" storybook for my son. . . he might as well get used to a wench as a mother. . .!!
