11 days after surgery normal to get worse?

Hi guys, it's me again!
We called  the neurosurgeon and he thinks the same think that the spinal fluid should be reabsorbed by itself, and wait for another week- he told us to watch for fever and bright red on the wound. - His facial nerve seems that is getting worse he has more difficulties chewing, the taste is a little bit better- sweets don't taste like drinking syrup like in the beginning and he can tolerate a little bit of salt. Hope things keep improving for you and my husband - I keep praying. Thanks, MARO
