Shapeups

Has anyone tried the Shapeup shoes?  Thoughts?
Translab surgery 12/15/2008 followed by CSF leakage repair and 3 additional surgeries for MRSA of the brain (NOT typical) SSD,  facial and vocal cord paralysis, numerous reconstructive surgeries, Transear 12/2010

Yes, I have - and I posted some comments on the "exercise" thread in the AN Community section.

Basically I spent $75 on them (they were $100, but I had a $25 coupon) and I'm sorry I did.  I find them very difficult to walk in - they actually give me balance issues that I don't have in "ordinary" shoes.  I also find myself stumbling over my feet when I wear them.

I haven't worn mine in a few months now.  Wish I would have used the money to invest in a second pair of running shoes.  Oh well, live and learn.

Kinda what I figured, they look like trying to walk on the rungs of a rocking chair.  Not such a great idea for us ANer's.
Jan put em on EBay, some one is bound to buy them, even though they are used albeit gently.
