Aria Nicole Welsh 5lbs 9 oz, born December 23rd at 5:03 pm. Our 1st grandchild. Everyone is happy and healthy.

Bob! Congratulations! She's so pretty, and so is her name. Look at those pink cheeks in that last photo. What a wonderful way to start a new year.

Diagn Apr 14 2009 with 2.5 cm lt AN. - numbness in the face and sudden onset headaches accompanied by balance issues. Consults with Drs in S Ontario, California (House) and Vancouver. Picked Dr. Akagami in BC.
Retrosigmoid July 6, 2010, 3.0cm by then. SSD left, no other significant side effects.

8 mm left AN June 2007,  CK at Stanford Sept 2007.
Hearing lasted a while, but left side is deaf now.
Right side is weak too. Life is quiet.

Congratulations and having a grandchild is such fun!     We have 2 and they are what has helped keep me going!      I have a friend who has a granddaughter with the same Aria.                       Cheryl R

  with nerve graft 3-23-06
   CSF leak revision surgery 4-07-06
   left mid fossa 4-17-08
   near deaf on left before surgery
   with hearing much improved .

Thanks everyone...she is a cutie. She already has board shorts and a rash guard. I figure I need to wait at least a few years before I get her on a board though....... ;D.

Retrosigmond surgery on June 4th, 2008 for an AN. 100% hearing loss and facial paralysis (was not prepared for facial paralysis). Size: 2.3 cm, 2.1 cm, 1.8 cm. some tumour remains along facial nerve. Pray for no regrowth. Misdiagnosed for 10 yrs.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.
