Twitching eyebrow
« on: December 19, 2009, 05:59:58 pm »
Hi everyone,
I've just been reading through some posts in Facial Issues and something occurred to me. Sometimes when I yawn my eyebrow on my AN side twitches. This doesn't happen every time I yawn, so I haven't taken much notice of it. I dont have any facial problems from my surgery. My AN was over 4cm and partially removed in March this year. The remainder was then treated with GK in October this year.
I was just wondering if anyone had any input on this, im due to see my Consultant on the 30th Dec, so ill be mentioning this to him.
Any replies welcome,
Thanks,
Louise. x

I have experiences twitching also, but not for quite awhile. IMO you facial nerve was probably stretched some with a 4 CM tumor. Mine was and is still weak ( no lift) after 6 years.  IMO some twitching would be normal, but if you are concerned about it talk to your neurosurgeon IMO.
9/17/03, 4.5CM, Translab, OU Medical Center, Dr. (the ear man) Saunders and Dr. B. (the BrainMAN) Wilson  along with about 4 other Doctors that keep me going for 18 hours.
