1 Year Post Op Anniversary!

Just looked at the calendar and realized that tomorrow is my 1 year post op anniversary.  ;D

Feeling great and except for the slight hearing loss in my left ear, I can say that I feel pretty darn normal again. Hooray!!

Congratulations on your 1-year (post-op) anniversary and excellent recovery!  Where did that year go, anyway?  I have to mention that in your new avatar photo, you vaguely resemble Sara Palin - or Tina Fey.  Your choice - it's all good.  ;)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

I am so happy for you and so glad that we met (even though it was a pair of brain tumors that brought us together.)  I wish you many, many more years of post surgery bliss.  I can't wait to share my upcoming anniversary with you!  Your new picture is great!

Hi Cathy,

Tomorrow should be a day of celebration! Our tumors were almost the same size and we both had great outcomes. I always try to treat myself in some way on my anniversary. I go out to dinner or buy myself a little something. It's great to know that the worst is over and the best is yet to come. Have a great day. Ann
