Hi Ho Hi Ho, it's off to surgery I go
« on: June 21, 2009, 12:28:49 pm »
Leave on Monday morning for Rochester, Minn. Have pre-op on Wednesday and surgery Thursday. I am sooooooo ready for this. I'm ready to start the next chapter of my life, whatever that may bring. I have faith in my Doctors and faith in God that everything will be okay.

There probably will not be any posts on here till I can do it. Get the husband(Dan) pass solitaire and checking the weather and you really do not want him messing with the computer. BUT, I do have the website on thestatus.com I.D.: Smith Password: myjesus2. Dan will be calling my cousin thru out the day and the day after and she will be posting updates on there for family and friends. Feel free to check it anytime you want.

I do want to say that it has been really helpful to read what others have gone thru and continue to go thru. No matter if this is an AN or other type of tumor, it is causing the same problems as an AN and I am thankful that I found this website. God Bless each and everyone of you and I'll see you in "postieland"

Patty
Diagnosed 1/09 1.6cm left side

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Hi Patty. It's your mid-Missouri buddy here. Best wishes for your surgery. I'm glad things are better with your family too.

I'll be headed up to Minnesota myself this summer, to visit my younger brother and his family. My niece just graduated from high school and they are throwing her a party in July.

Take care and God bless.

I'm just shy of 4 weeks out (already????) and feel better all the time.  I'm thinking of taking up running again this week (we'll see how it goes......)

Good luck,
