sleeping nightmare

before this darn an sleep was easy.i expected some sleep problems early no but the op was 5 mths ago.will it ever get better :'(
4 cm acc neuroma 99.9% removed queen elizabeth hospital 6 sept 09 by dr walsh.thought it was trigeminal neuralga,lots of facial pain for 18mths,now deaf on rh side little taste and ear pressure.13 hour surgery.

any idea what's causing the sleeplessness?  Usually sleep issues are evident in the first few weeks post op - especially if you are on steroids - but IMO at 5 months post op this shouldn't be happening on a regular basis.

I'm not a doctor, but perhaps you should schedule an appt. with yours and ask him if there's any rhyme or reason for this.
