Surgery scheduled at NYU
« on: September 24, 2009, 08:46:14 am »
Scheduled for translab at NYU on 10/14 with Drs. Roland & Golfinos.

MY AN diagnosed 2-1/2 years ago began very small, 2.5 mm.  Now 9 mm. hearing in left ear gone (can now put my hearing aid on Ebay), minor balance problems, constant tinnitus. Can't wait to get this thing over and done with.

We wish you well on the 14th, Ronnie!  Have you put the date on the calendar so we can be sure to cheer you on?  Several here have used Roland & Golfinos - perhaps you've been in touch with them...love your comment about putting your hearing aid on ebay :D

Take care!

Ronnie -

Drs. Roland & Golfinos have a very good reputation - you'll be in great hands.

Did you put your surgery date on the AN Calendar?

Ronnie .....

Glad you have a surgery date.  That is so much better than waiting and wondering (at least it was be for me!).  Now you can make preparations and plans.

Thoughts and prayers.

Ronnie ~

Locking in a surgery date is always a bit of a relief.  I'm glad you have yours.  I put it on the famous AN Treatment Calendar found here: http://www.my.calendars.net/an_treatments/d14/10/2009?authenticate=&display=M&style=B

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
