Wow Pearl,

Sounds like we got a great bunch going!! I plan on wearing my Red Sox gear.  Going to opening day again this year.  Probably my only game this year but who knows.  Can't wait to see you all again and to meet all the newbies.  Can't believe when we got together last Oct. I was a Newbie!!!!

Jane call me so we can make plans again.....talk soon.

ernie, got it.. the "Yankees" are heading south.. have a terrific visit with the family!

CrazyKat/rockerdood/Paul, got it. If Jody makes it this way, pls let me know. I owe her a huggle :)

Lisa, got me 2 sets of tix to BoSox.... end April vs. the "Evil Empire" and in July against the Orioles.  Maybe I'll show up in me BoSox gear as well! (we all did that when we won the 2007 W.S.... the brunch was great with all of us in BoSox stuff!)

Maureen, would be terrific. Agreed. I know of others on this site that have coordinated same efforts around the States... keep your good ear and eyes open :)

My husband is running the Boston Marathon the next day. I'd love to come but don't know if I can get childcare...

Keri, would LOVE to have you join us, if you can. Didn't realize Marathon Monday was the next day.  Will you be staying in downtown or suburbia? Please let me know.

Any other takers? Just a couple of weeks away and I need to give our loverly host (Bill) our final headcount... as well as Gil (oh, be still my heart for my Brazilian nut!  :P ) for the Apple Dumplin's.

(Thanks to Keri for letting me know about this!)

I will be heading to Boston from Houston myself that weekend for the marathon!  And have every excuse to carbo load at brunch the day before, guilt free :)  How cool that I will be able to do two very special things the same weekend! I would love to attend if I still can.
I will be one week pre-surgery at that point, too, so it will be EXTRA good to meet you all :)

i just confirmed childcare, booked a flight (going into Manchester, NH), hotel (in Concord), got a car (watch out MA!!). Lunch on Sunday, watch my husband and Laura run Boston on Monday!

The "boss" and I are a definite. looking forward to meeting everyone. LOL..do we coordinate SSD ears?.... ;D. I always try to grab the left hand corner seat in meeting/social situations.....maybe musical chairs would be in order... ;D

Guess that means I lost the pool.  I picked 4/3 as the birth date.

Hang in there Katie.  Baby #3 will arrive shortly, I'm sure.  Hope you're not too uncomfortable and are getting some sleep.

We try, but its no longer our little group that sat on a normal table .... its first come first serve, late comers wont get pick of seats.  we need a bigger place!

I almost was not going to make it! .. I talked to my father-in-law  and fishing is not going to get in the way like last year... I will be there!!
(we are going fishing the next week, I go Salmon fishing in Canada every end of April for the last 15 years, even a AN did not get in the way!)
