« on: September 28, 2009, 10:11:25 am »
Well I wasnt slated to go back to work til Wed for 3 hrs( our inclass never exceed 3 hrs) but a coworker has a family death so I"m gonna try to replace him...I know I can do the 2.5 hours but its the aftermath...headache.....and out of whack head.....I went to office meeting for half a day (more like social event as we talked about my AN surgery and then upcoming Baha surgery)..I was fine til half way home and then I got it with a headache which put me out of commission for two days...So I"m schedule now for inclass today, tomorrow and Wed...should be interesting.....but will cancel if  have to....oh well here is to Aleve and a glass of water...lol

Good luck.  When my headaches were at their worst, I would wet two wash clothes and stick them in the freezer.  When they were "moldable" I would take them out and curve one to the back of my neck and one over my forehead.  They were my saving grace in addition to my Excedrin in the days before the surgery.

Good luck, Jo!  Just pack that Aleve and some water and take it before the headache gets really bad.

I was an Aleve user prior to my AN being removed. After my AN surgery, I found when I felt a headache was starting that if I took 2 extra strength (500 mg each)  Bayer Aspirins they did the trick. My headache was gone. I still use Aleve but found that helps more with muscle and body pain. I am very fortunate that I don't get headaches very often but if I do my aspirin is never more than a few feet away from me. I hope work goes well for you. Make sure when you get home you save time to take a nap before you get too tired.

Jo, does the raise mean you are buying the grog for everyone? :)

Well done Jan

What ever I chose to do or when ever I chose to do something about it ... going back to work must be very intimidating.  It sounds like you have done an awesome job.

Glad you are so keen to deal with the 'kids' (in my world - teenagers are very old).
