Ingrown hair?
« on: January 29, 2010, 10:18:14 am »
I have a sore spot around my BAHA incision. My husband looked at it and said it looks like a pimple. I am thinking it may be an ingrown hair. Has any else experienced this?

Lisa -

I haven't experienced this.  You may want to put bacitracin or neosporin on the sore spot, but if it doesn't get better you should probably call your doctor.

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

Lisa,

I haven't experienced this either.  It could be an ingrown hair or a spitting suture (a suture that was supposed to dissolve but didn't).  I'd follow Jan's advice.  If it doesn't clear up in a few days, you should see your doctor.
