Alarm Clock?

Hi Ernie.

I don't hear the alarm clock either, and I enjoy it
My wife wakes me. I will have to test the cell phone trick though. Because how do I get out of bed when I'm out of town for a meeting???

Maybe Rick's wife will "gently" wake you up too!   

I used to have to gently wake my husband up too.  He must just bruise easily because I don't think I ever punched him THAT hard....

my alarm must be louder than everyone's. unfortunately it wakes me up every morning. even when my 'bad' ear is up.

first ring / hit snooze - holler at slow teenage daughter to get up.
second ring / hit snooze - holler at her again
third ring/ hit snooze - teenage son's turn to get 'reminded' to rise and shine
fourth ring / snooze - other daughter's turn and my turn too. 

well goodnight. that's all coming too fast tomorrow morning.

I'm a shift worker, so it's only a concern 33 percent of my working days .  One of my shifts is 6 AM to 2 PM.  That means I'm getting up at 5 AM.  For the first few of those rotations, I'll probably have my wife set her alarm too, just in case.  I do hope I can get up without something under my pillow though.  My hands are always under my pillow, and my pillow "travels" alot at night .
