Knowledge is power.  I have long been an advocate of keeping copies of all of my medical reports, including lab/imaging, etc.  Not only is it much more accurate, but readily available when going to visit a physician.  I mentioned in an earlier thread that I have compiled a concise medical information sheet, that includes my history, my family history, surgical/procedure history, immunizations, drug allergies, and regular medications/vitamins (including dosages and OTC ones) ..... all on one page.  I keep a current copy in my purse all the times.  I did one for my husband, as well.  The few times we have had emergencies, it was so important to have accurate information when we were stressed.
