One of those days
« on: May 28, 2009, 03:53:50 pm »
Have any of you ever had someone tap all day for example with an old plastic water bottle or tap on the table, just that constant tapping in my only ear "man "does it get on my nerves. Am I the only one it is so hard to focus in on a conversation to have to hear that in my only good ear. May be when I get my Baha it will not bother me as much.  :-[ I finally told him to stop it I could not take it any more.

I can totally relate to this.

It's hard being SSD and only having one "good" ear - especially when that good ear is distracted by other sounds.

Hopefully your BAHA will help eliminate some issues like this  :)

Retrosig 5/31/07 Drs. Battista & Kazan (Hinsdale, Illinois)
Left AN 3.0 cm (1.5 cm @ diagnosis 6 wks prior) SSD. BAHA implant 3/4/08 (Dr. Battista) Divino 6/4/08  BP100 4/2010 BAHA 5 8/2015

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways
