Ahoy ye blaggarts!

I just got through seeing the first installment of "Pirate Master" and it seems they voted off the hunkiest scally on the ship, who was quite decorative, AND brought up the first treasure chest.  So he can have a spot on the Goode Ship PBW as long as he don't steal nothing (like OUR compass) and keeps his yap shut.  I believe Batty's toy chest has a device for the latter. The Wenches will be sorry to see such eye-candy leave national television (git yer Tivos warmed up!) but he'll fit right in wiv this lot.  So open the Hunk Hold (be sure not to let Sawyer or Matthew out however) and fling 'im right in!  Welcome aboard "John--Scientist/Exotic Dancer."

A strange message has been beamed to the goode ship PBW. The message is encrypted and is in Eagle speak. The only non eagle speak sentence is "if ya flea bitten wenches wants ta see ya master Laz again "..........................................................

Well, the wenches get together and not even the sqwarkin Capt'n or Genny can understand it.  Genny does sqwark that its in white bellied eagle lingo!!! - clever bird our Genny. The wenches get into a huddle (they are good at that) and mumble, gossip about hunkamania, hairy chests, chocolate rations and then discuss how they are going to reclaim master Laz. We needs ta find an eagle decides the Captain.

Anyone got one??? asks  mmm, best not to admit to that one.

Genny, the bird with the brains!!! again pipes up and sqwarks Austruckinfalia (Genny has a speech impediment) but the Wenches decide that it's the land down under we needs ta gets to to find an eagle to decipher the message.

Stay tuned when we find out whether the girly whirly dinghy thingy is circling around the ship in a drunken state with the grogmeister on board. Will yodelay wench be recognisable after many months soaking in the waters off wherever she be, will the crew find an island along the way with a forgotton tribe on it and be invited to dinner (wench for main course).

Ahoy mateys!

I saw on the ANA website that there is a Symposium workshop on post-treatment cognitive disorders!

I definitely have a cognitive disorder!

When I was a'wakin' up from the surgery I sez to meslf, I sez "AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!  Judgin' by all this rockin and a'rollin' this here bunk be doin', I must be on a SHIP somwhere out in the Middle of the Ocean and she must be blowin' a GALE up topside!!!" 

Well, the gale has subsided a might, but I still believe I'm on a ship out in the middle of the ocean, in the company of a pirate crew and surrounded by sharks!!!!

Is there hope for me?

Are you sure the PBW didn't sail up the Columbia to Portland?  We be having our 100th Rose Festival here and there is a beautiful Pirate ship hanging out at the sea wall with Pirates on board.  I haven't been able to visit this ship in person, and I was sorry about that...but we did see it on the telly and it be a fine ship.  I thought of all my Pirate mates and wondered if they'd slipped up the river without telling me!

Captain Deb sqwarks the command to battle stations. All cew on deck. Forget about master Laz, we gots ta be plunderin and lootin. Roll out the chocolate cannons, distribute (big word for a pirate bird) the feather dusters, bring out the stubby holders (so ya hands don't get cold when suckin on the tinnie). We will show that rust bucket what a pirate plunder can be.

Will the good ship PBW make it up the Columbia? will the PBW finally meet its match? will the chronologer spring a surprise on the crew?
