Poll: EEG to surgery timeframe
« on: May 05, 2009, 10:30:30 pm »
Just wondering how many of you remember what the timeframe was between your EEG (if you had one) and your surgery date.

I'm having an EEG tomorrow, but am still awaiting a surgery date.  I assume it will be fairly quick so that the data won't be "old", but I haven't been told anything specific.  Thought your data might give me an idea....

Thanks,
Adrienne

Adrienne ~

My EEG was taken approximately 10 days prior to my AN surgery.   I believe there is a time limit but that probably varies with each hospital/doctor.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
