tomorrow, i mean later today is my translab
« on: January 28, 2009, 11:54:30 pm »
Hi everyone,

I would say tomorrow is the day, but it's after midnight so TODAY is it. I'm still working away trying to get paperwork and other work done before I'm out of it for a few weeks. I wish I could just relax by the fire. I had my last sip of wine at 12:07 (oh no, 7 minutes past my 'do not eat or drink' deadline)!  I'm so thirsty now that I know I can't have anything! I need to get up at 4:00am but I'm not sure I'll make it to bed. It's like trying to wrap up lose ends before going on vacation. My consolation is that I guess I'll be sleeping all day tomorrow.

I enjoyed the ANA support group last Saturday that I attended (DC area).

I can't find the calendar - so I'll say a couple of things to people who's name I can't remember....

to ??? who's also having surgery tomorrow, and to the 23 year old who i met at the support group who's having surgery on Monday - I'll be praying for you all! I hope you have peace of mind and can relax and it goes well for you both. I'm sorry I can't remember the names or find the calendar to look up the names. I'm very scattered feeling right now.

To the Ravens fan who has my doc too (Dr. Eisenman) - I'm for the Cardinals now. But the SuperBowl party will have to come to me - I'll still be in the hospital.

Thank you all for your advice and encouragement!
I'll post next week, I suppose.

Take care - God bless you all!
Keri

I know I'm too late for you to actually view this post but even so, you'll have my hopes and prayers for an uneventful surgery and a rapid recovery.

See you soon, as a 'postie'!  :)

How's recovery?  Remember to do nothing and rest.  Did you get to watch the game in the hospital?  Good game.  Keep the good attitude and enjoy doing nothing.  You have been through alot. JBell
