Lipo Flavinoid
« on: October 26, 2008, 10:45:32 pm »
Not sure if I spelled that right....
I think I heard that someone takes Lipo Flavinoid for tinnitus. It says that it is supposed to improve circulation in the inner ear area. Is this ok, if you are hoping to have tumor necrosis? Just a thought.

I've taken it at various times before and after my CK.  I don't think it helped that much, but didn't seem to hurt anything either.  The vitamin doses in them are pretty low. My radiation oncologist said taking daily multivitamins was fine, but he didn't advise taking mega-doses of anything (Vit C, etc).  Now I just take lemon bioflavonoid and lecithin along with my multivitamin, and it's basically the same ingredients as Lipo Flavonoid.  Still not sure it really does anything though.  ???

Hi Sherry

I've had tinnitus for 23 years.  In all that time, I haven't come across anything that helps.  When I was having post-op balance issues, my doctor suggested Lipoflavinoid.  It's supposed to improve blood flow in the inner ear.  I took it for awhile.  I really didn't notice any improvement in my balance or tinnitus.  Maybe it might work better for you.

Best wishes

David
