GK Scheduled
« on: August 28, 2008, 03:32:13 pm »
As I said in the Radiation section---YUK!  They told me mid-September, but they were wrong.  My GK is scheduled for October 7th.  Disappointed, but at least I've got a date now.  In the meantime, I'm gonna try not to freak out too much.  Is that possible????  I am sticking with my decision.  No more intense research otherwise I will really go crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy.  Oh, as you know, I already am!!!  Thanks to all for your support.

Congrats on your decision and date, Nancy!  I firmly believe that firm belief in your decision is always better than being indecisive.  You've done a great job so far.  You've done the research, made the decision, etc.. The rest, as they say, is somewhat out of your control.  Don't sweat over it.  You've got a few extra weeks, but that's okay.  As I said, don't sweat it.  You've done your job, now let them do theirs.  Then it will be your turn again.  ;)  Congrats on having a date to look forward to!

Hi Nancy,

Things do get better when you get the date.  Good luck.  I dont' think it will be too bad for you.  :)

Thanks to everyone for the support I have gotten from this board.  My husband and I are leaving early Saturday morning to go see out son who is in the Air Force and stationed in OK City.  We will be driving--about a ten hour drive.  We will be gone for a week so that will be one week I can cross off of my countdown calendar.  I will probably be absent from this board until I get back.  I am looking forward to some sweet distraction for awhile.
