Double Vision following surgery
« on: March 05, 2023, 06:37:13 pm »
Hi All- I know every case is unique, but I am going on two weeks post operation and my right peripheral double vision "moved" to front stacked double vision. I would be curious to know what your vision was like following your AN surgery and how long before it was back to normal? I am impatient I guess...but I like to read and it's annoying!  Thank you so much!

I haven't read it yet, cherylann, but the March 2023 issue of the Acoustic Neuroma Association Notes is listed as the Eye Care Issue.  I don't know if it addresses your specific difficulties, but it promises to "navigate the challenges of eye issues and acoustic neuromas."  I'm glad to see the ANA address eye problems caused by acoustic neuromas or the side effects of treating them.
Burning Tongue, Loss of Hearing & Balance, and Tinnitus led to MRI. Very small AN found on 11/23/2021
While watching and waiting, lost significant hearing. WRS now at 12% (down from 100%). Was fitted with CROS system on 3/7/22.  Stable MRI on 7/29/22
No treatment yet.
