Post Surgery Facial Twitches
« on: February 16, 2023, 08:21:09 am »
My surgery was in 2017 for the AN removal. Occasionally I will experience facial twitching, I had it in my lip for close to a month and now its my eye on the side where I had the AN. I know its been years since my surgery just curious if anyone experiences this? I spoke to my Doctors and they were not concerned and said even though its been years since the removal facial nerves are still working to repair themselves

My cynical side wonders if your doctors would be more concerned about it if the twitching happened to their eyes?

It is bad enough to experience what you are experiencing, Kaci, but then to have physicians make remarks like that to you, that makes me angry!
Burning Tongue, Loss of Hearing & Balance, and Tinnitus led to MRI. Very small AN found on 11/23/2021
While watching and waiting, lost significant hearing. WRS now at 12% (down from 100%). Was fitted with CROS system on 3/7/22.  Stable MRI on 7/29/22
No treatment yet.
