3yrs post op no balance improvement
« on: May 21, 2020, 10:35:38 am »
I’m three years post op In July and still no improvement. If anything I’m worse. Imbalance is 24/7 now. Thought the tumor was possibly growing back but I had a recent MRI done and I’m clear. I just want it to end. I’ve done the VORs and therapy with no improvement. Is anyone else out there having the same trouble?

I am so sorry you are continuing to have balance issues. I read most of your previous posts but they don’t mention tumor size. Was your AN very big? Was it near the brain stem?

My surgery was 11/2008 and my balance has not gotten better either and worsened over the years. Now I use a cane inside and a walker most times outside. I’ve even purchased an electric scooter for longer distances because no matter how short the distance my dizziness is consuming and causes the balance problems. Makes me nauseous as well. I wish you better luck.
