Tinnitus after a facial paralysis fix surgery

Hi

My name is Shay,
in 1994 i hade acoustic neuroma in the brain, i had a removal surgery, as a result, i have full facial paralysis on the left. in 1997 i had an operation where my thunghe were connected to the facial nerve. after one year I got mild muscle movement and that about the time i start suffering from tinnitus 24/7 til now (left ear) . is there any treatment for tinnitus? any idea why it happened?

Hi Shay,

Best would be to consult your surgeon and then take multiple opinions on the matter.

No symptoms except mild hearing loss
RS procedure on 26-Oct-18 (2.7 x 2.5 cm AN)
Deafness and facial palsy on right side
26-Feb-19 MRI showed 0.8 cm of leftover tumor
Slight movement on ~7-Jul-19 but mostly paralyzed
