Hi Gary & Viejita (and everyone else)....

Thank you for responding to my post.  Just returned from visit with parents.  I'm still trying to consider my options . . . I have heard of Dr. Moody, but was told she just treats children.  The specialist I've been referred to is her partner, Dr. Barry Strasnick, whom I see on August 25th.

In the meantime I am looking at the possibility of Gamma at UVA, as well as considering the HOUSE clinic in California -- though that might be a long shot as it would be difficult geographically and financially, etc.  But see doctors' there as my best hope for minimal side effects . . . just not sure how I could pull it off. . .

Anyway, any feedback is always appreciated!

Gabi,

I sent you a personal email about contacting me and another Hampton Roads AN person that i met on this site.  He's a surgery patient and I had Gamma Knife at UVA...

Re: Shanne
Sorry; I can't find what the choice was.
At 2.9 cm and with a 50% hearing loss already and in Singapore, it seems reasonable to me to perform a translabythrine removal pretty soon.
Seems if anyone has done many ANs at all, translab is the most common and thorough.
  Just my 2 cents...
