Personally, I'd say 3-4 days might be average,,, everything depends on how surgery goes though and the doctors/hospital you use,,,

I know of one patient who used my team and his surgery was on a Thursday and he went home Saturday;however, I wasn't as lucky and I stayed a week. But I had two surgeries so that is why.

That's my opinion,, for what it's worth  ::)

Does anyone know if flying a long distance after surgery LA to GA would be a problem?

Hi Regina!
Many of us on this forum have had surgery and flown afterwards. I flew 6 hours about a week after retrosigmoid surgery on my AN.

Sorry you have to join this little club of ours.

Take care.

Things went really well.  I spent one day in ICU and one day in a regular room.  Just took two days!
