newly diagnosed
« on: March 11, 2017, 07:42:31 pm »
I was recently diagnosed with a 2.6 right sided AN and am still in shock I think ! I do not have any symptoms to speak of other than tinnitus I have had off and on for a few years . I am in search for advice on a neurosurgeon and would love feedback from those who have used Dr Babu at Michigan Ear Instiute and / or Vanderbilt Acoustic Neuroma Center .. thanks so much

Hi kamigrisham, welcome to the forum.

2.6 cm without any symptoms except tinnitus is good going. Have you taken a look at your MRI and done a hearing test?

Kamigrisham, I use Vandy.....I see Dr. Rivas there and would recommend them highly. I'm still in the Watch and Wait stage but they did a lot for me in 2014 when diagnosed to ease my fears and they are confident in the way they approach these.
