thanks for sharing your story.  It has been very helpful reading it as well as everyone's comments.  Glad to hear that you are doing well and that your quality of life is good. 
I live in LA and I am going with Dr. Schwartz and Slattery at House.   Feeling blessed to be so close to so many great doctors.

I consulted with Schwartz and was very impressed with him. I really think my decision came down to proximity. UCSD is 30 miles from my home, but  House in Los Angeles is 90 miles from my home. Schwartz is great. He has a great team. Your surgery will be very successful and you'll be back running around living your life in no time.

August 2016 tumor removed via retrosigmoid
