Post Cyberknife symptoms
« on: April 02, 2016, 12:14:21 pm »
I just had my third MRI and doctor visit after having Cyberknife in August 2013.  My tumor is  holding steady at 1.6 cm which is good news ( last year the doctor noted some necrosis).  All very positive news.   Nevertheless I still don't feel as though I am out of the woods.  My energy comes and goes, and my balance problems are still there.   Next week I will see an audiologist to see about getting a CROS hearing system.  So I guess I should be in a great place, but in reality I  don't feel like I am back to where I was before the surgery.  Is this normal?  Does anyone have experience several years post Cyberknife?

Hi Ann, First time I've been back here in many years. Five CK treatments were done back in 2012. Follow up MRI's the first couple years showed no more growth and five years later I can report 100% back to normal other then some hearing loss in "that" ear, which was the case before CK. Tumor was 1.2 & dr.s said expect hearing loss but that did not happen so in hindsight I can say CK was great choice for me.

11-2012, Followup MRI- "no Sig. change"
10-2015 Followup MRI- Tumer Shrunk In Size
