You REALLY are very COOL.  I need to learn how to do some of this fun stuff with the computers while I'm recovering.  I think you are also very smart to wait until your doctors have seen your films.  Please do keep us posted.

Cap'n Deb,

Where are you???? We are worried about you.  I had an MRI last Nov, a little over one year out, It had some confusing stuff on it as well which led me to think there was possible regrowth. My Doc explained it away as it being the normal scar tissue they would see, and that if there was any regrowth, it was too soon to decifer between the scar tissue and regrowth. It also suggested a cross section type scan of some sort, if the Doc was concerned, But my Doc didn't feel a need for the additional test. I decided not to push it and wait until I was 2 years out, So I'm due to go in and demand a new MRI.
I'm holding good thoughts and sending positive energy your way. I'm sure the waiting for your Doc appt is tough.

hang in there

Hi Captain Deb,

I hope you get some answers soon concerning your MRI report. Will be waiting to hear the report. I've read many of your posts, and you seem to be such a fun-loving person, especially considering the headaches you have been enduring. I wish you the very best, and I will pray for you tonight.

Hey there wench sister!  I get my results tomorrow.  I dislike that darn machine...On Monday, when I did it I had the makings for a migraine before I went in, and it fully blossomed on the ride home...still have a headache hangover, and it made my tinnitus almost unbearable.  I sure hope it's good news tomorrow!!!  I hope you get some good news too!

Hey there Wenches! I've been outta town for a fer days--Thanks Kippy and Patti and Patti-yootee and Gennysmom for all your prayers and good thoughts.  I am so not worried about the MRI and I'm fully sure that those blokes at House scooped as much of the little bugger out as was humanly possible! My Neuro here will send the films to House for a second consult. I'm back in town, but really busy--out taking pictures alot right now as our leaves are pretty spectacular and I need something to paint!

Finally, after a month, I have a clean MRI!!!!!! Thank you Dr Friedman!!!! (Who read the report for free.) My local radiologist billed my insurance company a whopping $400 to write a report that said he didn't know what the hell he was seeing. I paid 30% of that one. My neurologist billed me $50 for an office visit to tell me the same thing.  Next time, I'll have them send the report directly to California and bypass the 2 middlemen and their billing offices.

It really is great news--I've been pretty quiet lately--on pins and needles because of the radiologists report that said the mass in my head had increased in size. Apparantly the fat in my head is absorbing TimTams!!!!! And dark chocolate pretzles from Deitze's!!!  Oy Vey!!!

Congrats Deb!  I haven't seen the MRI yet, but my Doc commented on what a fatty head I have.  I guess I can blame that for the mishaps now that the AN is gone, right?   ;D
