Thanks Saralynn I really appreciate your help, your the one that persuaded me to try the Scleral lens.
I believe it was a gas permeable lens that my Doctor ordered for me.

Thank you, Saralynn, for posting all this information.  Your link was very helpful!  I have a slightly different situation -- my dry eye now makes tears - yay! - but they do not drain, and I'm wondering if and how a Scleral could help.  I just posted this question in a new discussion topic.
