head sore behind ear

Has anyone had a tenderness to the back of your head where your tumor is located...my scalp is very tender to the touch...not always but at at least a couple of times a month, sometimes more, sometimes less.....it feels bruised

1.6 cm into CPA  IAC an diagnosed in Nov, 2010..gamma knife in Feb 2011...facial nerve involved, only small section going into the brain stem shows on MRI, tumor either has it pushed aside or is wrapped around it, facial spasms & twitching, hearing loss, balance off, migraines....

My initial symptoms were pain behind the ear, exactly how you explained it, felt bruised. I am sorry to hear your GK failed. I had GK in June 2009. My two year MRI is coming up in June 2012. I still feel that pain off and on, freaks me out. I also have TMJ. At this point I am not sure anymore where my symptoms come from, but I am not symptom free yet. I am not sure that anyone with an AN ever is. Where did you have GK? I had it done in Toronto, Canada.
