I left night lights on in my house for about 2 years post-op. Also, I always carry a small flashlight in my purse for those times that I'm out & about at night. I don't need the night lights at home anymore & am much more steady on my feet in the dark most of the time. Unfamiliar places are the biggest problem. That's when the flashlight comes in handy.

i carry a small torch in my handbag too! now i don't feel quite so odd...
