Thank you all again for the replies,  it really helps knowing I am not alone with these issues.  I will be going to a Pain Clinic within the next few weeks to see what they can do for me.

Be careful of the Pain Clinics.   I went that route here and they sent me to Cleveland Clinic Pain Clinic Dr. Nagy Mekhail.   He got me so close to death I was so frightened and knew in my heart I was dying before I passed out.    Check out my Cleveland Clinic notes under headaches.    Best of luck to you.

Did you ever get to a pain clinic?  If so I was wondering how things went.   HOw are you doing?

No, I stay far away from Pain Clinics.   They don't know what they are doing.  I am with a Neurologist and Nurse Practitioner at Georgetown that specializes in headaches.  She was the one to send me to Myofacial Release Therapy.   She and this doctor are my guardian angels next to Forumites who come first of course.

Sorry Mei Mei, my posts was for the original poster, mmccullen   ;)

Don't want to sound rude, but don't try to scare people away from pain clinics.   I think you just had a doctor that didn't know what he was doing!!   Maybe he wasn't aware of how your surgery area worked out..??    There have been way to MANY people who get great benefits from pain clinics and injections.

Take care!!

I have to agree with you Denise. Like any other specialty, there are good and not so good physicians. I have had mostly good experiences with pain specialists and it is definitely a good option to investigate for those who are looking for pain relief.
