"Puppylove" Update
« on: January 14, 2011, 02:11:57 pm »
Hi All,

I received an email from Debbie's husband last night. He said her surgery went well and they were able to remove the tumor without complications. He said there appears to be no damage to the facial nerve, and though it's too soon to tell what the status of her hearing will be, they do not believe that there was any significant damage to that either.

I told Debbie I'd be sure to pass along her husband's updates to her friends on the forum. I know she is extremely grateful for all the help and support she has received here.  :)

I'll let you know when I hear more.

Congrats, Debbie - and welcome to the other side!

Nancy

Nancy ~

Thanks so much for letting us in on Debbie's outstanding surgical outcome.   Please let her know how delighted we are for the great news.  I trust her recovery will be swift, smooth and total  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
